Father’s Day Menu

One thing I love about my Dad is that every time we go out to eat we order as a team. Divide and conquer is the name of the game. Each choosing different dishes, then sharing, means we get to try multiple things on the menu. Want to have the fancy french toast but the smoked salmon eggs benedict also sounds amazing? With our strategy you get both.

So when it came time to draw up a Father’s day menu I knew there was no one else to ask but the man himself.

Without further adieu, I give you my Dad’s top picks for Father’s Day (which also happens to pretty much always be his birthday as well - Happy Birthday Dad!)

My dad knows his way around a smoker, brisket being his favorite. Here’s a simplified version from House of Nash that slow cooks in the oven.

Mexican Street Corn Salad is crazy good, so I can easily see why my Dad put this on his ideal Father’s Day menu. Check out this version by Serious Eats.

My dad is an avid gardener, so it’s only natural that he would go with a grilled vegetable. Asparagus is his veggie of choice, and Foodie Crush will show you how to do it.

We are rounding out the meal with Peach Cobbler from Pinch of Yum. He was born in Georgia, so it actually checks out.
